This totally stuck in my head. It’s completely obvious - a no brainer

And yet I think most of us don’t realise it

“How we spend our days is of course how we spend our life”. Not the life we planned : the life we are actually living

I’ve just come back from another funeral. I wonderful goodbye to an amazing woman

She lived her life every single day. So today the eulogy was easy - everyone knew what her life was because, to state the obvious, she was living it every day!

It’s not about dreaming about the future and goals. Very few people die wishing they’d spent more time at work

Most people wish they had invested more in relationships. Been less selfish. Listened more etc etc

The lady I said goodbye to today was wonderful. She truly lived her life, one day at a time

“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our life”
