Counselling involves a series of formal, weekly sessions to talk about your issues and feelings. Short term therapy typically involves 8 to 12 weekly sessions, longer term therapy can be for as long as you feel that you need to come. The sessions take place online

Therapy may involve talking about anything that you'd like to bring: life events, feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking, patterns of behaviour. I will listen, encourage and empathise, but I will also challenge you, to help you see more clearly or in a different way.

Counselling is not about giving advice or opinions, nor is it a friendly chat with a friend. I will help you to understand yourself better, and to find your own solutions to resolve or cope with your situation.

Once possible safely, face-to-face physical sessions will resume at Mile End as an addition to the online option.
