Our thoughts feelings and opinions affect the way we feel about ourselves.  This in turn affects our judgements and how we see the world and everything in it

There are lots of quotes about Self esteem, but the one that speaks most to me is from someone unknown:

It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not

Because we compare our darkest inner self with the part of everyone else that they choose to show to the world, we feel that they are all so much more together, nicer, kinder, more confident, harder workers, more worthy than we are.

But everyone has the inner doubt, the feeling that they aren't as good as those around them, it's just that we don't see it.  Maybe they don't see it in you - the challenge is that it's often all that we can see ourselves.

Sometimes the reasons for how we feel about ourselves are clear, sometimes less so. Self esteem is central to how we respond to life.  If you'd like to talk about your own inner feelings , contact me and we can start work on where your feelings come from and you can begin to build up your self esteem again.
